Jason Wilson (politician)
Jason Wilson (born August 12, 1968 in Martins Ferry, Ohio) is a Democratic politician who formerly was a member of the Ohio Senate, representing the 30th District from his appointment in January 2007 to November 2011. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Governor's Office of Appalachia.〔http://www.development.ohio.gov/Appalachia/〕 Wilson is the son of former Ohio Senator and United States Congressman Charlie Wilson.
==Career==
Wilson holds a B.A. in Political Science from The Ohio State University, and an MBA from Wheeling Jesuit University. Wilson is affiliated with the Bridgeport Area Chamber of Commerce, Ohio River Trails Board of Directors, Ohio Funeral Director's Association, Columbiana County OSU Alumni Club, National Rifle Association, Belmont County Right to Life, St. Jude's Catholic Church, Power Siting Board, and the Muskingum River Advisory Council.
